Youth on the Move

Youth on the Move: A Digital Campaign for Understanding Migration Causes is an Erasmus+ KA210-YOU small-scale partnership led by grow e.V. (Germany) in cooperation with the Italian Training Research Foundation (ITRF). The project runs for 18 months (February 2025 – July 2026) and aims to strengthen public understanding of why young people migrate—especially in Germany and Italy and to counter misinformation and discrimination around migration.

Project Objectives:

  • To provide a comprehensive understanding of the primary causes of youth migration in Germany and Italy, supported by thorough research and expert analysis. Result: A comprehensive report detailing the identified causes of youth migration, based on data from academic studies, reports, and expert interviews.

  • To effectively communicate the causes of youth migration to a broad audience by creating and distributing high-quality educational materials. Result: Two brochures and ten infographics finalized and approved for public distribution, designed to clearly and effectively convey information about youth migration.

  • To raise awareness and stimulate discussions and empathy about youth migration through a targeted and strategic awareness campaign. Result: An awareness campaign executed with measurable engagement, including impressions, likes, shares, and comments, demonstrating the campaign’s impact and reach.
